When you ask us to provide you with a web site our first task will be to sit down with you and get some general idea of what you want from your web site. This is not always as easy as it might at first appear but we've spoken to enough people to know that, if we ask you the right questions, we'll get the right answers.
We will then prepare you a mock-up of what we propose. And this is where you may find we differ from some others that you may have spoken to about your site because you will realise that, up to this point, we haven't talked about money - and we haven't asked you for any!
The reason for this is simple, we believe that having met you, and you us, and then having seen the sort of work we can produce for you, you will be more comfortable to confirm our business relationship. And when we do provide you with some figures, you will realise you are getting value for money. And, if for any reason, you don't - then we shake hands and part company. No hard feelings, and no invoices.
But if you do want some idea of costs before this that stage, as a general rule of thumb you could have a simple web presence with a few pages of words and graphics, and a up to 5 email addresses, from as little as £120 a year.
At the other end of the scale you could have an online shopping system with real-time credit/debit card payment system integration, automatic text message and email order confirmations and many other features for £1,000 or so.
